Sore Feet City Leaf

Oh what a feeling - Sunday evening. I've had a really cruisy weekend. I drove my car to Spotlight yesterday to get the red pom poms I need for the red party I'm going to next weekend - now I just have to sew them onto my red top. I'm used to my car but totally not used to the motorways and general spirals of the road system here. I mean if I got lost in Melbourne on a grid system them I know I'm screwed on the swirling roads weaving around hills all curvy and upside down compared to the map in my head here!
I caned myself at the gym yesterday and am totallly paying for it today. Got home after gym yesterday and made a big brekky. Caught up with a few people last night and watched a totally bizarre movie that I kinda liked and can't remember the name of. It's on DVD and the cover is pale blue with red writing and it's about these Asian high school kids....
Today I woke up and had brekky and read til I fell asleep again and got up at 9. We then went and delivered "City Leaf" fliers to 500 houses locally which took the best part of 2 and a half hours. Dave's quit his drain digging yuko job and is doing landscaping working for himself so we're trying to single-handedly/double-handedly blitz Auckland with fliers I made. Got home and Dave made us a yummy Spanish omellette before we went on the grocery mission.
Then, read my book for another coupla hours and then got inspired to cook up a storm. I baked choc chip muffins and then for dinner we had a new creation of mine:
marinated tofu with sesame seeds served on a bed of mashed pumpkin with roast garlic through it and a broccoli and mushroom side with satay sauce. YUM.
So, full-bellied and whole hearted and warm and generally good all round, I say goodnight and hope to hear from you all soon.
