Confused attmepted poetry
This one is based on 2 lines out of a Beatnik writer Dianne Di Prima's poem - "The Window"
"This kind of bird flies backwards
and this love"
falls silent as a windmill
far away
sweeping shadowed carpets
under tables
sat at each nihgt
for supper
entangled with whims
creaking with dispepsia
flying like sulphur
on the breeze
children on their knees
food in other mouths
digging daily
for bread
they will never eat
bellies grow round
pregnant with malnutrition
beards of flies
eyes watering liquid
undrinkable
picture unthinkable
like the bird flying backwards
and this love falling silent.
This is another little one i did - who knows what it's talking about!...
desert rainbow
in a thunderstorm
calloused heartache
bleeding flowers
on the future
of gravel-nosed
pink throbbing
public wet dreams
